Welcome to part two of this two-part series. If you haven’t listened to episode 76, I’d love for you to go back and catch the beginning of this conversation! In this episode, Nikisha King-Hidalgo and I continue our conversation about the book, A Happy Pocket Full of Money, and how you can apply it to your own life. If you want to reframe your mindset when it comes to your business, goal setting, and life, then be sure to tune in!
Nikisha King-Hidalgo, the Creative Director and Owner of Nikisha King (NK) Design House, specializes in custom illustration design. NK Design House aims to provide unique and memorable details for wedding and event planners, businesses, and consumers through illustrated design pieces.
In addition to running her illustration design business, Nikisha uses her years of learning and experience via her Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) and Master’s Degree in Business Administration to create a community of business owners and provide guidance in helping them create efficient processes in their business(es). The program she created is called The Focus Formula, where she mentors business owners in learning new business perspectives and streamlining their business(es). Throughout the program, every mentee is guided to improve their processes no matter what stage of their business they are in. As a result, the mentee will create an efficient business process that allows them to meet the demand of their clients, all while spending quality time with their loved ones.
Besides running an illustration business and a mentoring program, Nikisha is a family woman who enjoys spending her weekends with her family. She recognizes the importance of streamlining her business to keep everything running smoothly, including her family life.
This book will open your eyes to so many things – especially if you’re committed to living your life and business from an abundant mindset rather than one of scarcity! In part two of our conversation, we explore more about this book, how the way you think affects your responses to situations, “I am” statements and the difference between desire and want.
